The following waverforms were all captured using this
power supply and this
motor.
You will note the waveforms in the photos below never go negative.
This is due to the way the the current sensing amplifer built into the LMD18245T driver
chip works.

- Chopping of Winding Current

- Automatic Idle Current Reduction: The winding current is automatically reduced if no steps are recieved within 3 seconds.
The amount of reduction is configured by changing R9 in the R8/R9 voltage divider.
